Frame Relay is Symmetrical and full duplex, the speed is the same up and down.
There are no collisions as in an Ethernet environment so
performance is increased.
Frame Relay is best suited for Business customers requiring high reliability and throughput.
In todays Internet environment Frame Relay and ISDN can be considered an Expensive, Low Bandwidth solution.
The good point is the extreme reliability and excellent service level agreement (SLA).
